Day 1: Bangalore to Hampi (340 km, 6-7 hrs)
- Morning: Drive to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Activities & Descriptions:
- Vittala Temple: Famous for its musical pillars (which emit sounds when tapped) and the iconic stone chariot, this 15th-century temple is a masterpiece of Vijayanagara architecture.
- Virupaksha Temple: A 7th-century functioning temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, with a towering gopuram (gateway) and intricate carvings. It’s Hampi’s spiritual heart.
- Hampi Bazaar: A historic market street lined with ruins of ancient shops, now a lively spot for souvenirs and local interactions.
- Overnight: Stay at a hotel.
Day 2: Hampi Exploration
- Activities & Descriptions:
- Hemakuta Hill: A cluster of ancient temples atop a rocky hill, offering sunrise views and a serene ambiance. The simplicity of these structures contrasts with Hampi’s grander ruins.
- Royal Enclosure: The political hub of the Vijayanagara Empire, featuring the stepped tank, audience hall, and Mahanavami platform, reflecting royal grandeur.
- Coracle Ride on Tungabhadra River: A traditional circular boat ride offering a unique perspective of Hampi’s boulder-strewn landscape and riverside ruins.
- Overnight: Stay at hotel.
Day 3: Hampi to Hyderabad (380 km, 7 hrs)
- Morning: Drive to Hyderabad, the "City of Pearls."
- Activities & Descriptions:
- Hussain Sagar Lake: A man-made lake with a massive Buddha statue at its center, accessible by boat. The evening lights create a tranquil setting.
- Buddha Statue: A 58-foot monolithic statue installed in 1992, symbolizing peace and offering a striking photo opportunity.
- Overnight: Stay at hotel.
Day 4: Hyderabad Exploration
- Activities & Descriptions:
- Golconda Fort: A 13th-century fortress known for its acoustics (a clap at the entrance echoes at the top), diamond trade history (Koh-i-Noor originated here), and panoramic city views.
- Qutb Shahi Tombs: A necropolis of seven Qutb Shahi rulers, these domed mausoleums blend Persian and Indian styles amidst gardens.
- Charminar: Hyderabad’s 1591 landmark, a four-minaret mosque with bustling markets (Laad Bazaar) nearby, famous for pearls and bangles. Enjoy a Hyderabadi biryani lunch here.
- Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Hyderabad.
Day 5: Depart Hyderabad
- Morning:
- Ramoji Film City (Optional): The world’s largest film studio complex, offering tours of movie sets, gardens, and live shows—a fun Bollywood experience.
