Theme: Temples, Backwaters, and Hill Stations

Day 1: Bangalore to Ooty (280 km, 6 hrs)

  • Morning: Drive to Ooty, a charming hill station in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiri Hills.
  • Activities & Descriptions:
    • Ooty Lake: A serene artificial lake built in 1824 by John Sullivan, surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Boating (pedal boats or rowboats) offers a relaxing way to enjoy the misty scenery.
    • Botanical Gardens: Established in 1847, this 55-acre garden showcases over 650 species of plants, including exotic flowers, ferns, and a 20-million-year-old fossilized tree trunk. It’s a horticultural delight.
    • Doddabetta Peak: At 2,637 meters, it’s the highest point in the Nilgiris, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys through a telescope house.
  • Overnight: Stay at a hotel.

Day 2: Ooty Exploration

  • Activities & Descriptions:
    • Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train): A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this narrow-gauge railway from Ooty to Coonoor winds through tunnels, bridges, and tea estates. The 1-hour ride is a nostalgic journey with stunning vistas.
    • Sim’s Park (Coonoor): A 12-hectare botanical park with terraced slopes, featuring rare trees, roses, and a serene lake. It’s quieter than Ooty’s gardens and ideal for a peaceful stroll.
    • Tea Estates: Visit a working tea plantation to see how Nilgiri tea is grown and processed. Sample fresh brews and buy aromatic teas as souvenirs.
  • Overnight: Stay at hotel.

Day 3: Ooty to Cochin (280 km, 6-7 hrs)

  • Morning: Drive to Cochin (Kochi), Kerala’s coastal gem blending history and modernity.
  • Activities & Descriptions:
    • Fort Kochi: A historic seaside enclave with colonial charm, featuring Portuguese-Dutch architecture, quaint cafes, and art galleries. An evening stroll reveals its laid-back vibe.
    • Kathakali Dance Performance: A traditional Kerala art form with elaborate costumes, expressive gestures, and live music. This 1-hour show narrates mythological tales in a captivating way.
  • Overnight: Stay at a hotel.

Day 4: Cochin to Alleppey (60 km, 1.5 hrs)

  • Morning:
    • Chinese Fishing Nets: Iconic cantilevered nets along Fort Kochi’s shore, introduced by Chinese traders in the 14th century. Watch fishermen operate these giant nets at sunrise or sunset.
    • Mattancherry Palace: Built by the Portuguese in 1555 and gifted to the Kochi king, this museum showcases Kerala murals, royal artifacts, and a blend of colonial and local architecture.
    • Jewish Synagogue: Located in Jew Town, this 1568 synagogue features Belgian chandeliers, hand-painted Chinese tiles, and ancient Torah scrolls, reflecting Kochi’s multicultural past.
  • Afternoon: Drive to Alleppey and board a private houseboat.
    • Backwater Cruise: Alleppey’s tranquil backwaters, lined with palm trees and paddy fields, are navigated on a traditional kettuvallam (rice boat). The cruise offers a glimpse of village life and birdwatching (kingfishers, egrets).
  • Evening: Enjoy a Kerala-style dinner onboard (fish curry, appam).
  • Overnight: Stay on the houseboat.

Day 5: Alleppey & Departure

  • Morning: Disembark after breakfast, drive to Cochin International Airport (80 km, 2 hrs) to board a flight for onward journey. Tour End.

Our prices include the following

  • 03 nights’ accommodation at selected hotel package with breakfast.
  • 01-night accommodation in house boat
  • All meal in houseboat stay
  • 1 Kathakali dance ticket in Cochin
  • All transfers & sightseeing tour by AC Sedan car.
  • Services of English-speaking local guide during sightseeing in as per tour itinerary.
  • 01 bottle of water will be provided during the sightseeing.
  • All currently prevailing taxes on the Hotels, transport & government service tax.

Our prices DO NOT include the following

  • Any personal expenses - telephone calls, laundry, shopping, and table drinks etc.
  • Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in the trip due to circumstances beyond our control such as airline & railway delays, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions (mechanical breakdown) and other conditions like sickness, natural disasters, wars etc.
  • Liability for insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents, damage or loss of goods.
  • Transportation use as per tour sightseeing.
  • Gratuities for guides and drivers.
  • Any services /meals other than specified above
  • Any other service or item which is not mentioned as “Price Includes”

Terms and Conditions

  • All listed hotels have negotiated exclusive room rates for FNWF 2025.
  • Rates are inclusive of breakfast  & GST except Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Hotel & Convention Center
  • 100% payment in advance to confirm the booking.
  • The above room rate is for per night.
  • Check-in time 1400 hrs & Check-out time 1100 hrs respectively.
  • Early check-in & late check-out will be given subject to availability and would be charged extra.
  • Request for upgrades and extra beds are subject to availability and would be charged extra.
  • Request for king/twin bedded rooms will be accommodated as per availability.
  • Please also note that if there is any escalation the present tax structure, you would be required to pay the difference in cash at the venue.
  • All credit card payments would be charged an extra 2.9% as processing fee on total payment.

Amendments & Cancellations Policies

  • Amendments or Cancellations can be made on or before 05th Oct, 2025 After this it will attract to 100% penalty.
  • No refunds in case of No Show, short stay resulting due to late arrival or early check out.
